If your not focusing on kindness you may miss it. Since I have been focusing on kindness, I have noticed that there are more acts of kindness going on than I realized. By looking at the world through a positive lens, I now see it differently. This blog is a place where I will document acts of kindness. Kind acts can encompass anything from a random act to a simple favor for a friend. Your comments, ideas and kind act stories are more than welcome.

Can war be a kind act?
Today I went to war with a mouse army. I had tried the humane route already with some success, but not enough. I let the first couple mice go in the park, but the current traps are not doing the trick. The problem still exists and unfortunately needs to be dealt with in a more extreme manner. So I guess this is a case of doing a kind act in an unkind manner. It is for the safety of the people in the house that I have to pull out the big guns. You know what they say "never bring a knife to a gun fight." I went to Lowes today and bought 12 snap traps. I have been told that of all the lethal traps they are the most humane. I set them up all over the apartment complex and will check them later in the week. The non-lethal traps are still out so we are still taking POW's.

The only successful way to get rid of mice is to find out where they are coming in and plug up the holes. The mice only need a small hole to come in. It's almost spring, the mice will be leaving soon!
